Wickham Hoist Ltd has been at the forefront of rack-and-pinion hoist design and manufacture since 1961. Our product range includes construction hoists, passenger lifts, public access lifts, event lifts, and bespoke hoisting solutions. Capabilities range from 300kg to 2000kg as standard. Custom sizes are also available upon request. Our products also hold UKCA and CE certifications for reliability and safety.

Construction, Passenger & Goods Hoists

Our range of construction hoists provides a British build rack and pinion hoist to meet all construction needs, with British made controller systems and components makes our range unique in that all parts are available off shelf and no lengthy waiting down time. We have designed all our hoists to be simple to use and maintain whilst meet the highest safety standards. Our ability as a British manufacture means we can also offer a B-spoke service of design and manufacture to include user/ owner training support and technical factory support if ever needed. Our rack and pinions hoist ‘G’ range has many unique design features that gives flexibility to using our hoist as goods or passenger carrying facility. All our hoist come with a full 2-year factory manufacturer warranty and ongoing support if needed.

Public Access Lifts

We offer a range of public access lifts designed to fit all solutions, this variations design allows disabled access, public access and goods movement through all buildings that require to provide access for all personnel, our freestanding glass or solid shaft structures provides a robust but sympathetic structure within the building that pleases the eye and portraits luxury with a range of colours finishes available. The platform Lift comes in various sizes and configured to suit the site requirements with many variations of colour finishes and floor finishes to meet the site needs. The lift complies fully with 2006/42/EC and CE -UKCA marked to meet the highest safety standards. The lifts are suitable and robust to use in retail sites , industrial solutions, and general building access to comply with DDA regulations.

Event Lifts

Our range of EVENT lifts enable National event Companies to set up public access and goods lifts around the event within one day, the compact unique design allows the quality made modular platform lift which is self-contained within its own structure compliant to CE mark and UKCA safety standards. Pre-Erected and delivered direct to site, installed by skilled installers, and secured against the events scaffold structures at landing levels using swivel clamps and preformed base station adjustable to all surface levelling design to take the load.

Passenger Lifts

We offer a range of passenger and goods only lifts that comply with EN81-20/50 Our range of lift equipment from 500kgs to 2000kgs with capacities of up to 24 persons complies with all EN81-20 standards, CE marked and UKCA certified and tested.
The range of car interiors, machine configurations and traction design types include MRL (Machine room less) conventional 2:1 wire Ropes or chain driven are available subject to site specifications. Ideal for use in all situations, office, retail, care homes, hospitals, schools, public access buildings, residential homes, and many various other sites. For moving people safely and reliably then we have a solution.
